Mysuru: Saraswathipuram Police have cracked the murder case of a engineering student which was committed by a juvenile and have arrested him on Saturday night at Bengaluru.
The Police team which arrested the juvenile from Bengaluru yesterday afternoon, have lodged the boy at a Juvenile Rehabilitation Centre. With the arrest of the juvenile, the Police have cracked the case within 10 days of the crime.
It can be recalled that on April 16, the juvenile had murdered Mohan Kumar, 22 years by slitting the throat with a knife at Room No. 3 of Vishwakarma Students Hostel at Saraswathipuram in city and had fled the scene.
Victim Mohan Kumar was a native of Kalaburagi and was an eighth semester student of Information Technology at SJCE in city. A police officials said that Mohan Kumar had informed the juvenile’s mother about his activities, which had enraged him.
