New Delhi: Sachin Tendulkar was in Parliament today for the first day of the Monsoon session of Parliament and had a rather disappointing day despite being on the bench all day.
There was hardly any debate thanks to protests over the formation of Telangana, and so the only Parliamentarian thing the master batsman managed to do was thump his desk when the Indian team was congratulated for its series victory in Zimbabwe. He was watched from the gallery by wife Anjali, but she will have to wait for another day if she expected him to take part in any debate.
