Rajeev Dubey takes over as the President of National HRD Network (NHRDN)

Mumbai: National HRD Network (NHRDN), the apex body of HRD professionals in the country, today announced the nomination of Mr. Rajeev Dubey as its new National President. Mr. Dubey is a President and Member of the Group Executive Board of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, and succeeds Mr. S Y Siddiqui, Chief Operating Officer, Administration (HR, IT, Finance & COSL) – Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. as the NHRDN National President.

Speaking on his appointment, Mr. Rajeev Dubey, National President, NHRDN, said, “As one of Indias premier HR bodies, NHRDN is committed to enhancing the capability of human capital and make an impactful contribution in enhancing competitiveness and creating value for society. I feel privileged and honoured to take this mandate forward.”

 Mr. Dubey has been with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. since January 2004 after a career spanning 29 years in the Tata Group, which he joined in 1975. He spent 21 years with Tata Steel, and the next 7 years as Managing Director and CEO first of Tata Metaliks and then of Rallis India.

 His key focus areas are HR/IR initiatives for the Group, the After Market Sector whose CEOs report to him, Corporate Communications, Government Relations and Infrastructure. He sits on the Boards of several Group companies, is Chairman of the CSR Council and the Corporate Governance Cell of the Group, a Member of the Group Sustainability Council and the Governing Council of the Mahindra Institute of Quality.

 He studied Economics at St. Stephens College, Delhi University and at the Delhi School of Economics. He went on to do his MBA from the Yale School of Management, USA.

 Rajeev is the President of the Employers Federation of India (EFI), serves on the CII National Committee of Leadership and HR, CII Apex Council on Affirmative Action, and is Co-Chairman of the CII National Committee on Skills Development. He is also a member of the National Executive Committee of FICCI and serves on the Boards of Walchand Talent First, the Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management and Technology (LBSIMT), the School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL) and Magic Bus – an NGO that works with underprivileged youth.
