Pay Rs 5 and listen to Modi speak

Hyderabad : Well now listening to Narendra Modi is a pricey affair. If not any where else  but at  least in Andhra Pradesh.  This is what Andhra Pradesh unit of his of his party, the BJP, intends to do as it plans to sell tickets, priced at Rs. 5, for a public meeting that the Gujarat Chief Minister will address in Hyderabad next month.

However they have a justification for this, the party claims that people are willing to pay to hear Mr Modi speak .Well this is very much unsual and unherd kind of a reason , where we usaally hear cases where in leaders pay money to pull in the crowds at their meetings and rallies.

The said rally in Hyderabad, to be held on August 11, comes even as Mr Modi has delivered back-to-back controversies over using the analogy of a puppy being run over in the context of the deadly 2002 communal riots and of accusing the Congress of using “a burqa of secularism” to veil its many infirmities in governance.

Seems like  controversies only added to the popularity of “Modiji” . The minister who has spent the last few months speaking at several high-profile forums across the country.

Several senior party leaders, too, have openly acknowledged Mr Modi as the parties “most popular leader”.
