Sydney: According to a new survey by global public relations and communications firm Burson-Marsteller, Obama was among the world leaders who engage in twiplomacy, the use of Twitter for diplomatic relations.
The survey found that Pope Francis was however the most influential on Twitter, reports said .
It found that more than three-quarters of world leaders are on Twitter and everyone wants to keep up with the thoughts and activities of Obama, who has more than 34.5 million followers.
The study found that Pope Francis was the most influential, based on the number of times people share his tweets, an average of 11,000 retweets per message on his Spanish-language account, the report added.
