Australia: Prominent wildlife expert known for his crocodile adventure programme titled 'Crocodile Hunter' Late Steve Irwin, is remembered yet again by his son Robert Irwin for the same act that Steve performed 15 years ago.
Robert has followed his father's footsteps and recreated the same photograph that Steve had clicked with a ferocious crocodile named Murray.
Steve was seen feeding a chunk of meat to Murray during which it had risen from the ground to gulp the meat.
Junior Irwin too has posed in the same manner with the khaki coloured Australia Zoo uniform, bringing to life the iconic moment.
He has posted the photograph on Twitter and tweeted, “Dad and me feeding Murray…. same place, same croc – two photos 15 years apart.”
The photograph that was posted on Wednesday, July 3, has received a huge response with over 8, 17, 000 people liking it and 1, 68, 000 talking about it on Twitter.
It may be recalled that Steve Irwin had succumbed to a stingray attack on September 2006, while he was on a shoot for a documentary series titled “Ocean’s Deadliest” at Batt Reef, Queensland. He had approached a short-tail stingray and in a matter of seconds, the stingray’s bard pierced Steve’s heart, eventually leading to his death.
