Delhi: It seems Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has forgotten all decorum as he made derogatory remarks against Meenakshi Natrajan and called her “100 taka tanch maal”.
The Congress leader was addressing a public rally when he uttered the sexist remark against Natrajan.
“She is very hardworking. She has done good work in Mandsaur and has impressed people in Delhi too. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi like her. Not only that, she is 100% tanch maal,” said Singh at a public rally.
Several Bharatiya Janata Party leaders have rebuked the Congress Party and Digvijaya Singh uttering such indecent words on public platforms.
Also, during the debate in an News Channel, Sanjay Nirupam had also made sexist remarks against Smriti Irani. He had said, “I don’t have to listen to you. It’s been four days since you have entered politics and you already think you are a great political analyst…till yesterday you were dancing on television and today you have become a politician.”
Earlier a Congress leader in Madhya Pradesh had landed himself in a controversy by making sexist remarks that women invite trouble by looking at men in a suggestive manner, drawing flak from BJP.
