London: Member of the British royal family and next in line to the throne, Prince Charles (71) has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
According to reports, Clarence House said that the Prince of Wales has been “displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health”.
The Prince’s spokesman said, adding it was “not possible to ascertain from whom the prince caught the virus”.
Charles’ wife, Camilla (72) has, however, tested negative for the disease. The couple has self-isolated themselves at their home in Birkhall at Balmoral, Scotland.
Reports suggest that the future king of the United Kingdom tested positive for coronavirus on Monday night.
Earlier this month, Prince Charles met with Prince Albert of Monaco, who recently tested positive for COVID-19.
