New Delhi : Social activist Anna Hazare on Friday said the BJPs agenda is communal and he has never praised Narendra Modi.”I did not say that Modi is not communal. I said that I can not say, as I do not have any evidence. I have never praised him,” Hazare said.
“He is leading a party (Bharatiya Janata Party) (in the next general elections) which is communal so that makes him communal too,” the anti-corruption activist said.
Hazare also said that does not need communalism as it will divide the society. “The country needs Lokpal Bill,” he said.
“There is no credible prime ministerial candidate from any political party in the country at present,” said Anna Hazare.
Hazare also rubbished the news reports which said he had endorsed the Gujarat Chief Minister and said there was no evidence of Modi being communal.
According to reports, Hazare also said he would not support the Aam Admi Party, led by another anti-corruption crusader, Arvind Kejriwal, since it was a political outfit.
