Arrests are yet to be made in Chhapra, where more than 22 children, most below the age of ten years, died after having contaminated lunch at a school on Tuesday. The principal of the school is absconding.

More than 22 children from the Chhapra school are still in the hospital, some in critical condition.

Earlier on Wednesday, Shahi claimed it not to be a case of food poisoning but poisoning. He said that investigation will reveal if the poison was added unintentionally or there were some malafide intentions involved.
