Baghdad (IANS): At least 31 people were killed and 28 injured Tuesday when a bomb exploded in Iraq’s Diyala province, an official said.

The attack occurred when dozens of mourners at a cemetery were burying a Sunni teacher in Diyala University, who was killed on Monday night by militants near his house in the provincial capital city of Baquba, the official told Xinhua.

On Sunday, at least 17 people were killed and 65 injured in twin bombings in the province targeting a Kurdish party office and security headquarters.
