Udupi: “Late Francis Danti Memorial Literature Award 2019 instituted by Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh (Reg) and Late Francis Danti Memorial Committee is awarded to the Poetry Book ‘Nishadakolapatta Ondu Notu’ written by Wilson Kateel,” said Mary D’Souza, Convener of Late Francis Danti Memorial Committee.
Wilson Roshan Sequiera whose pen name is Wilson Kateel is a bi-lingual poet who writes in both Konkani and Kannada languages.
The award will be presented on Sunday, June 9, during the Annual General Body meeting of the Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh (Reg), at the Mount Rosary Church Hall, Santhekatte, Kallianpur. Valerian Menezes, Kota will be the chief guest for the event.
