Udupi youth commits suicide blaming ‘terrorist organisation’

Udupi: A youth hung himself to death at Babbarimakki, Markodu village in the vicinity of Koteshwara in Kundapura town. The youth identified as Vivek (23) committed suicide here on Tuesday, October 16.

In the death note, Vivek had written that a terrorist organisation was responsible for his death.

Vivek is said to be an employee in the Department of Agriculture, Reliance Foundation in Udupi.

The death note has created curiosity as well as anxiety in the minds of the people.

Further, in the death note, Vivek had written that he was threatened by a terrorist organisation and that his family too was in danger. The death note is said to be of three pages.

The police have begun investigating and have refrained from confirming the reason for suicide. They are now in search of more clues and evidence.

The principles that Vivek followed in his life and the information from his death note do not strike a balance, due to which the police are probing further.

Vivek has not shared information on any such instance or identified himself with any outfit or organisation.
