Udupi: A 55-year-old man riding a two-wheeler was crushed to death by a container truck at Santhekatte near here on Wednesday, September 12.
The deceased has been identified as Gangadhar Kanchan, a resident of K G Road, near Uppoor village.
It is learnt that Gangadhar and the truck were moving towards Udupi, when he lost his balance and fell onto the road while trying to overtake the truck. Gangadhar was crushed by the rear wheels of the truck at Santhekatte and he died on the spot.
A case has been registered in the Udupi Traffic Police Station.
