Udupi: Two teenagers drowned while swimming in the Koramakkihole stream in Byndoor Taluk.
The police have identified the victims as Zamir Shiek (22) and Raju Naika (25). Both are the residents of Kargade in Bhatkal. The duo, along with five others, had decided to go for a swim in the stream near to a Dharga in Koramakkihole in Byndoor Taluk, according to police.
As they were swimming, Raju Naika was pulled by the strong currents. Eventually, Zamir Shiek who went save him also drowned in the water.
Byndoor Police have registered the case.
