Udupi: Pejawara seer Vishveshatheertha Swamiji has clarified that no political speech was delivered in Poorna Prajna Vidyapeeta in Bengaluru as the Mutt is beyond all the political parties.
On the Ugadi festival, a program was arranged in the Poorna Prajna Vidyapeeta of the Mutt in Bengaluru. Few Congress workers alleged that the speaker Chakravarthi Sulibele was giving a political speech.
The Seer in his clarification said that the topic of Subtle’s speech was “Our country’s greatness, culture and national pride” and nothing pertaining to politics was discussed at the program.
The Seer reiterated that the mutt is above all political parties and they will not discuss politics.
