Udupi : Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swami of Paryaya Pejawar Math, Udupi once more stressed that there has been no change in his earlier stance towards Ayodhya temple and the issue of construction of Ram Temple will feature in the Dharma Sansad to be held in Udupi in November.
Addressing media persons here on Saturday, August 12 after holding the first meeting of the Reception Committee of the Dharma Sansad to be organized by Vishwa Hindu Parished (VHP) at Udupi fromNovember 24 to 26, Pejawar Swamiji said that he, along with other seers and saints supported the demand for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
“A decision regarding the matter will be taken during the Dharma Sansad. We are all awaiting the decision of the Supreme Court,which is expected in December this year,” he said.
Around 2500 seers and saints along with mahants from across the country are expected to participate in the national level Dharma Sansad.
Rashtriya Swayamsevan Sangh (RSS) Sarsangchalak Mohan Bhagwat too will be attending the proceedings of the Dharma Sansad on November 24.
The programme for Nov 25 and 26 will be held under the leadership and guidance of Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala D. Veerendra Heggade and Swamiji himself.
A massive mega public meeting will be held on November 26 prior to which a mega procession will be taken out at 4 pm.
