Udupi: Deputy Commissioner Hephsiba Rani Korlapati has declared a holiday on Tuesday, July 23, for anganwadis, private, aided primary, higher primary schools and high schools and PU Colleges owing to the expectation of heavy rains in the Udupi district.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rainfall with strong winds in Coastal Karnataka on July 23 and 24. The region is expected to receive 200mm of rainfall on these days.
