President Mukerjee visits Kollur Mookambika Temple

Udupi: Pranab Mukerjee, President of India, visited Sri Kollur Mookambika Temple in Kundapur on June 18.

The President offered special prayers at the Sri Mookambika Temple. Later he was felicitated by the temple authorities.

He was received by temple priests, local MLA K Gopala Poojary, Inspector General of Police Hariharan, SP Balakrishna, Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis, Assistant Commissioner Shilpa Nag, Kollur temple working official Janardhan, deputy working official Krishnamurthy and other temple officials.


The president was accompanied from Udupi to Kollur by K J George, Minster for Bengaluru Development, Pramod Madhwaraj, District In-charge Minister of Udupi, Rudrappa Mannappa Lamani, Minister for Muzrai, Dr. B R Shetty, Managing Director of New Medical Centre, UAE and others.

The president, after visiting Kollur temple returned to Adi Udupi helipad by road and proceeded towards Mangaluru International Airport to return to New Delhi.
