Udupi: “Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has come to Udupi for Ayurveda treatment as he had skipped the same earlier to resume duty after the people from the state including Janata Dal (S) leaders died in Sri Lanka bomb blasts,” said Minister of Tourism Affairs Sa Ra Mahesh.
Sa Ra Mahesh who stayed in Muloor Health Resort, interacted with the media persons after his visit to Udupi Sri Krishna temple.
Slamming Yeddyurappa’s statement that HDK had come to Udupi to have fun, Sa Ra Mahesh said, “Yeddyurappa is an elderly person and even he has been a chief minister. He should know that a chief minister will sometimes be busy till 2 in the morning. Even politicians have a personal life, and our day to day life and health also matter. Is taking treatment due to health issues fun?”, he asked.
“Ministers have responsibilities and we are working on it. The election model code of conduct is preventing us from holding meetings. Inspite of our limits, we are in constant touch with the officials and delivering our duties,” added Sa Ra Mahesh.
