Kundapur : One person lost his life and five others were seriously injured in a collision between two Maruti cars on NH 66 at Maravanthe near Kundapur on Monday, 1st May, 2017.
The deceased has been identified as Dhana Pandian (36), a resident near MG Road, Bengaluru.
Dhana Pandian heading towards Udupi from Byndoor in his Alto car collided against the Swift car returning to Goa from Mangaluru . Dhana Pandian at the wheels lost his life where as the occupants in both cars suffered injuries.
Over speeding and ongoing road works near Apoorva hotel in Marvanthe, presumably the reason behind the highway accident.
A case has been registered in the Gangolli Police station.
