Udupi: A newlywed woman, who had gone to watch a movie at the Inox movie theatre in Manipal near here, escaped from the theatre during the interval on Friday, January 4 and has been missing ever since.
As per the complaint filed at the Manipal police station by her husband Lloyd Monteiro, he married Jane D’Cruz (28) on December 31, 2018 in a lavish wedding ceremony at a luxurious hotel in the city.
Lloyd Monteiro is a resident of Katpady Forest Gate and is employed in the Gulf. Jane D’Cruz, a resident of Moodbidri, works as a receptionist in a hotel in Mangaluru.
The Manipal police are investigating the case.
