Muslim leaders join special prayers for recovery of Pejawar seer

Udupi: Following health issues of Pejawar seer during the Paryaya tenure, forcing him to leave the car street premises, muslim leaders have also joined a special prayers for his speedy recovery.

Followers of the seer have organised special prayers at the carstreet and infront of the hospital. Muslim leaders too joined them during the prayers.

Owing to health concerns, Pejawar Math Seer Sri Vishwesha Thirtha Swamiji had to leave the Car street in the midst of his two-year Paryaya tenure informed Raghuram Acharya, dewan of the Pejawar Mutt.

Though the seer is not allowed to leave the car street while serving the Paryaya tenure as per the traditional norms, this being a special case he had to leave the premise to undero surgical procedure for hernia at Kasturba Medical College on Sunday, said Acharya.

In his absence, the rituals at the temple will be perfomed by Vishwaprasanna Tirtha, a junior seer at the Mutt.
