Udupi: The newlywed woman, Jane D’Cruz, who had gone missing from a movie theatre in Manipal, has been traced to Goa.
Jane (28), a resident of Moodbidri who was working as a receptionist in a hotel in Mangaluru, is a newlywed. She and Lloyd Monteiro, a resident of Katpady Forest Gate employed in the Gulf, were married on December 31, 2018 in the city.
On January 4, Jane had been to the Inox movie theatre in Manipal to watch a movie. It was reported that she escaped from the movie theatre during the interval.
The police investigating the case were able to trace her location to an undisclosed location in Goa based on the calls she made from her phone.
