Karkala : A young woman named Sushma alias Kasturi (21) who was reported missing recently after she left home for work at the B.S.K. Cashew Factory in Bola of Kedinje village, has been traced with her lover Shiva at Kadur in Chikmagalur.
The woman who is the daughter of Yogish Shetty of Suratkal Katipalla 3rd Block has been residing in Gandhinagar of Mundkur Malladka. She was reported missing on April 30 as per a complaint lodged at the rural police station.
Police who began a search for the missing girl, came to know that she was in love with Shiva (25) of Udyavara who was working as a cleaner in a private bus named ‘Naveen.’ It also came to light that she had eloped with Shiva as the youth too had gone missing the same day.
After tracking the location of Shiva’s mobile phone, the Karkala police with the help of their counterparts in Kadur succeeded in tracing the tow.
As both of them are majors, the police are likely to allow them to take a decision on their own regarding their future.
