Udupi: A delegation led by Union Minister D. V. Sadananda Gowda met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and sought help and cooperation in tracing the missing “Suvarna Tribhuja” deep sea fishing trawler which had gone into the deep sea along with seven crew from Malpe Fishing Harbour on December 13 and then went mysteriously missing.
Raghupathy Bhat Udupi MLA, Lalaji Mendon Kaup MLA, Nalin Kumar Kateel Member of Parliament of Mangaluru, Jaya C Kotian President of Dakshina Kannada Mogaveera Mahajan Sangha, Vinay Karkera President of Mogaveera Youth Organization, Shivalingappa Honorary President of Karnataka State Gangamatha Employees Welfare Association, Raghavendra Leader of Mogaveera Organization and other Mogaveera community leaders were along with Sadananda Gowda urged the Home Minister to take necessary action in tracing the missing boat.
Singh immediately ordered the Home Secretary to conduct investigation from all angles by the Union government itself and help to trace the missing boat along with seven fishermen.
Rajnath Singh also instructed to continue the search operation in Maharastra, Goa and Gujarat borders to find missing boat.
