Manipal : Manipal University has bagged prestigious Golden Peacock Environment Management Award 2014 for the 3rd consecutive year. The award is presented to organizations for successfully managing environmental concerns.
Manipal University has won several awards for its environmental management. The award was presented at the “Golden Peacock Awards Nite” in New Delhi on Friday night during the 16th World Congress on Environment Management.
The award was received by the Registrar, Dr G.K.Prabhu and Director General Services, Col. (Retd) Badrinarayan on behalf of Manipal University from Justice (Dr.) Arijit Pasayat in the presence of Lt Gen (Ret) J S Ahluwalia, President, Institute of Directors, Atul Chaturvedi, Chairman, Public Enterprises Selection Board, Rana Kapoor CEO Yes Bank and others.
The Awards Jury comprised Chairman, Justice P. N. Bhagwati, former Chief Justice of India and co-chairman, Justice (Dr.) Arijit Pasayat, former Judge, Supreme Court of India.
