Karkala :Ashok who married a minor in a Shringeri temple has been sent to jail.
Shubha(17) was missing mysteriously and a case was registered in this regard at Karkala rural police station.
Parpale Ashok(25) and Shubha were in love and they went to shringeri temple and got married. Thereafter they came to Nakre and lived there.
Police after getting information regarding the minor girl, took them into custody.
After investigation the girl was found to be minor and was sent for a medical test. The girl has been handed over to the parents where as Ashok is in jail.
A case has been registered in the Rural police station.
