Udupi: Following the physical attack on active Congress party worker Sunil D’Souza of Badanidiyoor, Pramod Madhwaraj, former district in-charge minister visited the injured party woker at the Government Hospital in Ajjarkad near here on Tuesday, August 7.
Sunil D’Souza was attacked by two people with PVC pipes on Sunday, August 5 after he refused to uninstall the CCTV cameras that he had put up at his house. in his complaint filed with the Malpe police, Sunil implicated one Sandeep Pavanjegudde as being one of the two men who attacked him. He also alleged that BJP local leaders were behind the assault as he works for the Congress party.
Madhwaraj inquired about the victim’s health and condemned the senseless attack on Sunil. Madhwaraj demanded that the police take action against and arrest the culprits at the earliest.
Meanwhile, Udupi president of the Youth Congress, Prashanth Poojary condemned the incident and demanded the arrest of the accused in the case, stating that the attack on Sunil was recorded on CCTV.
