Udupi : Konkani movie actress Ranjitha Lewis, a Sastan resident was hospitalised with severe head injuries after she met with an accident at Mabukala, near Sastan here on Tuesday, March 27.
As per reports, the accident occurred when a bike collided into the two-wheeler Ranjitha was riding. The actress, was immediately rushed to the Kasturba Hospital, Manipal where she was admitted to the ICU.
Born to Ronald and Flavia Lewis of Sastan, Ranjitha Lewis made her debut with Konkani film ‘ Noshibacho Khel’. She also appeared in ‘Ashem Zalem Kashem’ , Zanvoy No 1, and Tulu movie Appe Teacher. She has also worked for a Konkani TV serial ‘Hi Vaat Sorgachi Nhain’.
