Manipal: Brand Ambassador of Manipal Hospitals, Rahul Dravid inaugurated the Fetal Medicine and Comprehensive Geriatric department at Kasturba Hospital Manipal, on Tuesday, April 23. Dr. H Sudarshan Ballal, Chairman, Manipal Hospitals, C G Muthana, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Dr. Avinash Shetty, Medical Superintendent were present at the event.
Dr. Sudarshan Ballal said, “It is indeed a momentous occasion as I believe that Manipal is a temple for education and from Paediatrics to Geriatrics all types of facilities are available in Manipal and this reinforces our commitment towards offering quality healthcare along with expertise of our medical specialists”.

Dr H Manjunatha Hande, Professor, HOD and Unit Head in the Department of Medicine, briefed about Comprehensive Geriatric Clinic. Dr. Akhila Vasudeva, Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and also the Unit Head, briefed about Fetal Medicine division.
C G Muthana welcomed the gathering and Dr. Avinash Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
