Udupi: A young journalist died while under treatment for H1N1 (Swine Flu) in a private hospital at Manipal here on Wednesday, May 8.
The deceased has been identified as Archana Gundmi, a resident of Sastan, Gundmi.
Archana was working as a journalist in a local news channel.
According to family sources, she was admitted to the private hospital at Manipal 15 days ago, for the treating H1N1. She was tested positive for H1N1 and was undergoing treatment. Failing to respond to the treatment, she breathed her last.
Archana was married to Ganesh four months ago and was also pregnant.
