Manipal: A huge fire broke out in the four storeyed building of Hotel Dolphin at Eshwaranagara in Manipal here on March 20 at around 11 AM.
A paint store in the building caught fire which soon spread to the whole structure. No casualties have been reported but the fire has destroyed everything in the store. The adjacent shops have also suffered damage.
The cause of the fire is said to be a lamp which was lit in the paint shop. The fire and emergency service personnel arrived at the spot and managed to douse the fire.
