Udupi: The family of the nurse who died under mysterious circumstances in Saudi Arabia, is unfortunately still waiting for her mortal remains to perform her last rites.
It has been 27 days since Hazel’s demise and her remains are yet to reach her family.
Hazel Jothsna Mathias was a nurse at the government-run Al Miqua General Hospital in Saudi Arabia for the last 6 years. She died under mysterious circumstances in mid-July this year. She was last heard from by her family on July 19 when she spoke to her husband Ashwin Mathias, over the phone.
Reportedly, the person responsible for Hazel’s death was arrested and an investigation report was submitted to the court and a copy of the same was sent to the Indian Embassy.
