Udupi: Former IPS officer Anupama Shenoy has stoked another controversy with a Facebook post on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
After having quit the civil service, Shenoy, who started her own political party Bharathiya Janashakthi Congress Party, recently wrote a post on Modi stating that Modi had abandoned his wife and the fear of the man must have kept his wife-Jashodaben away from seeking justice.
Linking Triple Talaq to Modi’s personal life, Shenoy questioned how Modi is crusading for justice for Muslim women when he had meted out injustice to his own wife.
The post has evoked a lot of response, both for and against. The platform was used by Modi supporters to rebuke Shenoy suggesting her to build her party rather than comment on Modi’s personal life.
