Udupi: Dr. Sanjeev Patil took charge as the Superintendent of Police of Udupi District on Thursday, August 10 here.
He will be replacing K.T Balakrishna who has been transferred as Superintendent of Police and Deputy Commandant General, Home Guards, Bengaluru.
Dr. Sanjeev Patil was transferred from Anti Corruption Bureau, Head Office at Bengaluru. He has earlier served as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Mangaluru and was also the recipient of Chief Minister’s Gold Medal in 2013 for his outstanding service in Police Department.
