Manipal: Dr. Avinash Shetty has been appointed as the Medical Superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.
Dr. Avinash Shetty obtained his MBBS and MD in Community Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in the year 1993 and 2001 respectively.
Dr. Avinash started his career as Assistant Professor at the Department of Community Medicine, KMC, Manipal in the year 2001. He has 17 years of teaching experience. He served as the Chief Administrative Medical Officer of Dr. TMA Pai Rotary Hospital, Karbala for 14 years from the year 2001 to 2015. Dr. Shetty also worked as Professor and Head of the Department of Community Medicine, KMC, Manipal from 2015 to 2018. Dr. Shetty was involved in many public health projects in Udupi district.
