Cattle theft: Three accused sent to police custody

Karkala :Three persons were arrested and sent to police custody by the court in connection with cattle theft.

The arrested are identified as Ummar Farooq, a resident of Shantigudde in Bajpe, Mahammad Ashfaq and Nisar residents of Tokur in Jokatte.

They had stolen one cow and a calf worth 15,000 from a house belonging to Ishwar from Kattemane in Nallur.

During investigation they have agreed that they were involved in cattle theft in Karkala.

Davood from Jokatte in Bajpe, Sharif from Krishnapur, Kabeer from Bengre and Asraf from Uppugudde are absconding.
