Udupi: Popular Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and co-founder of Patanjali Ayurved Limited, will conduct a yoga camp in Udupi from December 3 to December 7, said Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha Swamiji of the Paryaya Palimaru Matha.
Addressing the media during a press meet at the Sri Krishna Matha on Monday, September 23, Swamiji said that, during the camp, Baba Ramdev will teach yoga for free from 5 AM to 7 PM. The venue will be the Sri Krishna Matha’s parking lot. About 25,000 people are expected to attend the camp.
He added that this five-day-long camp is being held for the first time in the city and that people should take advantage of this opportunity.
The Swamiji informed that Baba Ramdev will be felicitated during his visit to Udupi.
Sujatha Marla, state president of Patanjali Yogapithe, Dr. Gyaneshwara Nayak, state co-ordinator, Balaji Raghavendra Acharya, Patanjali Yogapitha state assistant Dr. Jneshwar Nayak, Sri Krishna Matha administrator P R Prahalad Acharya, Pathanjali Yogapitha district president Karamballi S. Shetty, district secretary Ajith Shetty, Sri Krishna Math PRO Kadekar Shreesha Bhat and Vishu Acharya were present.
