Udupi: Starting December 14, this week is the Student Special Week on season 12 of the Kaun Banega Crorepati. During the week, eight brilliant young minds from across the country will compete to be on the hot seat with host, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan.
One of the contestants who will be on the hot seat on Wednesday, December 16, is 12-year-old Amanaya Diwakar from Udupi.
Amanaya is among eight finalists who were selected from around 1.5 lakh students across India. The 20-day online quiz through which the students were selected was conducted by Vedantu, an online learning app.
The 7th grader has a great love for cars and dreams of owning a car manufacturing company in the future. Amanaya hopes to invest the money he wins on KBC to make his dream reality. He also wants to donate part of his earnings to charity.
Before appearing on the show, Amanaya researched the cars owned by Bachchan and during he show, engaged the host in a conversation about the topic and suggested that the latter purchase a sports car.
Asked for his suggestion on which sports car to buy, the young lad impressed Big B with his knowledge of cars. He also attempted to answer the Rs 1 crore question.
