Tumakuru: District In-charge Minister of Dakshina Kannada and State Urban Development Minister U T Khader has said that if the Congress and Janata Dal (S) state coalition government is threatened, then the coalition MLAs would definitely pull their BJP counterparts to their side.
Speaking to media, here on Saturday, July 6 during the inspection of Smart City project he said, “I am not going to react on the coalition MLAs’ resignation row. Such matters will be brought to the notice of the senior leaders of the coalition and they will look into it.”
“BJP leaders must understand that they have failed miserably by attempting ‘Operation Lotus’, several times, secretly. Now it has become an open secret”, he added.
Expressing his confidence regarding the state coalition government completing its tenure, Khader said, “Under the leadership of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and former chief minister and CLP leader Siddaramaiah the government is going strong."
“If time comes to save the state coalition, we will also use our power to attract MLAs from the BJP towards the coalition”, he added.
