Tumkur: As the state mourns the demise, the Siddaganga Matt has revealed the last wish made by Late Pontiff Shree Shivakumara Swamiji here on Monday, January 21.
Shivakumara Swamiji had put a condition to junior pontiff Siddalinga Swamiji that even if he reached the stage of “Shivaikya” (union with deity Shiva), the daily serving of food to the children must not stop and only after they have had their meals, should they know about his death.
Obeying his words, the matt announced the news of the seer’s death at around 2 PM.
According to the bulletin released by the Siddaganga Matt, Shivakumara Swamiji had passed away at 11.44 AM.
