Tumakuru: Arrangements were in place for the wedding of post graduate engineering couple. Relatives and friends had gathered around to witness the wedding ceremony.
The auspicious moment was not too far as the wedding groom started making preparations to tie the wedding knot. But destiny ruled otherwise as the groom collapsed and died of heart attack.
Vasanth Kumar, an M Tech graduate is the deceased. The unfortunate incident occurred at the Gaviganga Kalyana Mantapa in the town.
Certain pre wedding rituals and the reception were held last evening, Febrauary4. Bride too is a post graduate and holds an M tech degree.
Pall of gloom filled the air as the happiness among relatives and friends associated with the wedding disappeared within minutes to be filled by sorrow. Inconsolable teary eyed relatives were seen consoling each other at the venue.
