Tumakuru: Congress leader K S Rajanna has warned Janata Dal (Secular) supremo and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda, that if the Income Tax Department conducts raids on him, the blame should fall on the former.
Speaking to the media on Monday, October 14, he said, “If at all the I-T officials conduct a raid on me, then HDD will be the prime reason for the same. He has no other work to do, as he lost the general elections miserably. That is why he is attacking me.”
“He is writing a letter against me. If any raids are conducted on me, then I’ll definitely write a letter to the I-T department against him, stating that he and his family has lot of assets which needs to be investigated,” he threatened.
Meanwhile, reacting to queries about the Enforcement Directorate notice against him, he said, “I’ve no connection with any of the ED investigations that are currently underway. They have asked me to submit certain documents, which I will produce by tomorrow.”
