Chikkaballapura: KH Muniappa, MP from Kolar and former union minister has directed officials to cross check whether any project was complete and has maintained good standards before clearing the bills.
He was presiding over a meeting of the District level Monitoring Committee held at the Shidlaghatta Taluk Office of Chikkaballapura on Monday June 16.
Muniappa further directed officials for effective steps to make good use of available water resources until the onset of monsoons.
He also informed that talks would be held with the Chief Minister on measures to be taken to strengthen the Sericulture Department without merging it with the Department of Agriculture. He also pointed out that Sericulture earned revenue through exports.
