Manipal: Tonse Technologies launches a unique app- eRamadan that will cater to the religious needs during the holy month of Ramadhan.
The current features in the app include special supplications throughout the month and year, prayer timings according to location, location of nearby masjids, fasting guide and benefits. “Our target audience will be those who are religious and techsavy, adding to the apps of lifestyle segment”, said Tonse.
He said, “One feature to be included soon would be availability of the holy book Quran in several local languages,” he said. In the meantime, the firm is also available for joint collaborations or development and sponsorships.
Mohammed Yunus Rahmathullah Tonse, who completed his graduation from Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management and post-graduation from School of Information Sciences, Manipal University is leading the company based out of Manipal. Nihal Karkala, leading this project is an automobile expert and amazing talent at creativity.
