Enhancing efficiency and safety: have you seen these 8 modern gas analyzers?

Clean air should be a basic human right, but unfortunately, too many industries pollute the air we breathe. With modern gas analyzers, residents living near and employees working in industrial areas can learn what types of gases are polluting their environments.

Modern gas analyzers can work by themselves in a variety of weather conditions. This lets businesses know if they are within the standards set by government agencies. The newest modern gas analyzers have new technology, so there isn’t much need for regular maintenance.

  1. Omni FTIR Multi Gas CEMS

This gas analyzer looks at 10 different gases from carbon monoxide and hydrogen chloride to nitrogen dioxide and sulfur hexafluoride. The Omni FTIR uses a special mode to sample gases while maintaining a clean operation. It will spike dynamically if a plant uses a data acquisition system or data control system. This is recommended for large industrial buildings like coal-fired power plants and waste incinerators. It uses a hot-wet extractive measurement technique.

2. Mercury Freedom System

This gas analyzer gives you continuous monitoring so you know if your plant is emitting too many regulated gases. It has a split umbilical that lets you connect to cold and hotlines. It does not require any consumables that increase operating costs. It also saves money by not needing argon carrier gas and by not needing a gold amalgamation concentrator. It is a good choice for industrial combustion sources.

3. Particulate Matter Continuous Emissions System

Along with modern gas analyzers, particulate matter also needs to be monitored and regulated. This product can measure microscopic particulates and meets EPA standards for monitoring.

4. 43iQ Sulfur Dioxide Analyzer

Sulfur dioxide is inhaled and enters the body through the nose or lungs. It is a toxic chemical that can burn the airways and it can exacerbate asthma. It is not safe to inhale at any level. So, if you have a plant that releases sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere, you need a sulfur dioxide analyzer that provides updates about the quality of the air in and around your plant.

5. Model 48i-HL CO Analyzer

Carbon monoxide is dangerous for humans to breathe. In fact, if the levels are too high, people who inhale it can become unconscious. It comes from so many different sources and this gas analyzer can find it using a high-tech filter that reads of to 20,000 ppm.

6. 42iQ Low Source NO-NO2-NOx Analyzer

This gas analyzer actually learns as it reads the air. It is incredibly sensitive and will find low and medium levels of dangerous nitrogen oxides through chemiluminescent technology. It reads low levels so you can be proactive in taking care of your environment.

7. Model 46i-HL High-Level Nitrous Oxide Analyzer

Along with reading low levels, there are machines designed to read high levels up to 1,000 ppm. This analyzer is specific and secure so you get accurate readings and can store them over time.

8. Model 51i Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer

This model uses a Flame Ionization Detector to find hydrocarbons. The readings are shared in real time and can be stored through ethernet connectivity.
