Shivamogga: Retorting to former CM SM Krishna’s statement that Kumaraswamy must learn how to cry, the latter said that Krishna needs to learn how to respond to the problems of the people and farmers.
“I am a sensitive person. I have grown seeing the pangs and aspirations of the farmers from very close quarters and have responded to the same. You need to learnt that first, ” CM Kumaraswamy said while holding a campaign in Shivamogga, on Wednesday.
Talking about the BJP, he said that the party had made many promises in 2014, none of which have been fulfilled.
“We have waived off the loans of the farmers, even while the BJP was not even keen on supporting us. But, it then started Kisan Samman scheme just as an eyewash,” he said.
He said that a lot of hype has been created around Mandya where his son Nikhil Kumarswamy is contesting.
“Mandya is bagging more limelight than Modi and Amit Shah. This is the hype created by the media. Nikhil’s media coverage is much more than the rest of the leaders. I thank media fraternity for this support, ” the CM said.
