Shivamogga: Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party, B Y Raghavendra has said that the Jan Shatabdi train between Shivamogga-Yashwantpur will travel six days in a week, here on Sunday, March 3.
Speaking about this in a press meet, he said, “Jan Shatabdi train no. 12089 and 12090, which was flagged off on February 3 was only travelling three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), but in coming days it will be available six days a week (Monday-Sunday, except Tuesday).”
Raghavendra said, “The Mysuru railway division is yet to approve the memorandum that was submitted a few days ago. Once the notification comes from the division, the rail service will be made available six days a week”.
Based on the departure and arrival timings he said, “As usual the train will leave Shivamogga at 5.15 am and reach Yeshwantpura at 10.10 am. “
“Similarly, the trains will depart from Yashwanthpur station at 5.30 pm and will reach at 10.10 pm to Shivamogga station”, he added.
