Shivamogga: District Comissioner K.B. Shivakumar instructed to provide relief fund of Rs. 2000 to eligible beneficiaries of the 11 categories of unorganized workers who suffer financial distress due to corona.
He held a committee meeting on Tuesday to provide relief to unorganized class workers at the DC office.
He said, domestic workers, tailors, mechanics, rag pickers, blacksmiths, potters are required to submit documents only through Sevasindhu portal at the service centers.
District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer ML Vaishali, Additional District Comissioner G.Anuradha, committee members and representatives of various unorganized sector workers were participated.
